Frequently Asked Questions
What does small batch mean?
All of our products are created in small batches and by product demand. This ensures the freshness and specialty in each one.
How long do natural products last without a preservative?
Most of our products have a shelf life of 6 months to 1 year or more. That is, if you keep your oils out of direct sunlight and contact with water. Clay masks will last 1-2 years. We urge you to apply dropper oils to clean fingertips first, and to avoid touching the glass pipette directly to your face to avoid the spread of bacteria in your product.
My product is a different colour from my last one.
Pure, natural ingredients vary from batch to batch in terms of colour. This is normal and nothing to worry about.
My roll-on is stuck or does not dispense well.
We have new metal roller balls, so this should not be an issue! If so, try angling the roller on a diagonal when applying. You can also apply the oil to your fingertip firmly and apply to affected spot. Lastly, try pushing a pin between the roller cap and the ball to stretch out the opening a bit. After some use, the roller ball will usually warm up and work better.
My natural balm separated or has become grainy.
When your lip balm becomes grainy it usually means it has been subject to temperature changes that can cause the fats in it to separate (ie. in your pocket or car). This does not mean the product has gone bad by any means. We have adapted our formula to prevent this from happening, but cannot guarantee any natural separation over months. This can occur in any natural balm product.
